So, the rumors turned out to be true. An Amor Wars-like storyline (see wiki entry, popular comic book story arc in the 1980s) was included in this particular sequel, instead of saving it for the third movie, mainly because it will be a while before we see a third Iron Man flick. The next time we see Iron Man in the movies will be in Avengers (or Ultimate Avengers, as some sites are reporting) in 2012. However, a possible delay with Captain America: The First Avenger movie might push the Avengers film to 2013, assuming the workd doesn't end in 2012.  Thanks for sharing, thread starter, and I hope the next trailer would have more Scarlett Johansson cleavage shots. |

FYI lang po sa mga di familiar, ang kalaban ni Iron Man this time around is a combination of 2 Iron Man's classic foes who are Whiplash(Official name of his enemy) and Crimson Dynamo who also wears an armor in his comic book appearances (technology used to produce a power source similar to Stark's Arc technology)
i would really much like to see The Mandarin and the return of the Ten Rings(only mentioned as the terrorist griup who kidnapped Tony Stark in Iron Man 1) of Power on Iron Man 3 before the Avengers movie

I would've preferred that the villain for this film be either The Mandarin or The Crimson Dynamo. Whiplash seems a bit low in the hierarchy of Iron Man foes. |

ok lang kasi the fact na ang calaban nya are perfect replicas of the ironman suit and made by Ivan Danko(Danko yung name ng original Crimson Dynamo) it works and naipasok pa nila yung comic concept of whiplash also remember War Monger from Iron Man 1? redundant if another wearble suit ang kalaban nya diba |

So Whiplash is controlling drone Iron Man armor? That sounds like the Chinese Crimson Dynamo. I think his name is Alex Su, if memory serves me right. |
